[In-Person] The Japan Fair Trade Commission’s Competition Policy on Digital and Green Transformation
Event Overview
CCCJ members are invited to join ACCJ/CCCJ luncheon to learn about the Japan Fair Trade Commission’s (JFTC) competition policies for digital and green transformations. Hear from the JFTC’s Secretary General, Tetsuya Fujimoto, along with two other JFTC officials who will discuss the exciting developments and achievements of the JFTC in these key areas. In 2023, the Japanese government renewed its commitment to promoting digital and green transformations in its “Grand Design and Action Plan for a New Form of Capitalism”. The JFTC supports these market shifts from the perspective of competition law and policy by developing a new regulatory framework for the digital market and revising the “Guidelines Concerning the Activities of Enterprises, etc. Toward the Realization of a Green Society Under the Antimonopoly Act”. Make sure you don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights form some of the JFTC’s key officials.
