Moosehead Beers for Books
Canada's oldest independent brewer (along with its Japanese importer) is launching Moosehead Lager, Pale Ale and Cracked Canoe in Japan. Canadians and Japanese fans of Canada are invited to come celebrate with a fun Beers for Books event on Thursday February 24 from 7 PM - 10 PM at BierVana in the Prudential Tower near Akasaka Mitsuke.
The Canada-themed night will include Canadian highlights on the big screen, a Canada quiz for prizes, and Canadian BEER--all for a great cause with Beers for Books. Sounds like fun, eh?
For those new to B4B, the concept is simple: For every drink you buy, $1 will be donated to Room to Read and that buys a treasured book for children via Room to Read.
Room to Read provides quality educational opportunities to children in developing countries with the goal of empowering kids via literacy. Room to Read has projects in 9 countries in Asia and Africa including Nepal, Cambodia, Zambia.
Suggested Donation: 1,000 yen, includes 10 Raffle Tickets + one entry in the Canada Quiz for fun prizes. 100% of proceeds go to Room to Read.
