Event Overview
Why not end 2024 with a bang and learn a valuable skill? Public speaking can be a challenge for even the most confident leaders. Issues usually arise when inexperienced speakers take a public speaking engagement too seriously or not seriously enough.
Tom Boatman has developed a solution: the No Script Method. The Native Creative Y.K. founder says the approach is a better way to prepare for and deliver a public presentation, whether it’s a business pitch, keynote speech, workshop, or wedding toast.
Of course, there’s no substitute for preparation and rehearsal. That’s the work.
But the No Script Method allows you to speak naturally, honestly, and engagingly—without notes—using stories you have told all your life as the foundation for delivering your key message.
At this event, you’ll learn:
- How to prepare an entire speech or presentation, without committing one word to paper
- How to deliver a personal story that grabs your audience’s attention and holds it until the very end
- Public speaking techniques, such as how to start with a bang, organize your speech into three key points, and give your audience something to take home, consider, and act on.
At the end of our session, you’ll be on your way to mastering the No Script Method. You will be surprised at how easy it is.
Please come prepared to participate. We will be referencing valuable concepts and strategies. If you would like to get a head start, please check out Boatman’s YouTube channel, Native Voice.
Please note this event is generously hosted by Regus.
