Tohoku Student Intern Project 2016 Evening Reception

The CCCJ in collaboration with NPO Ganbatte 365 will host an evening reception at Whistler Cafe on Friday March 18th from 18:30-20:30 to celebrate the completion of the 2016 Tohoku Student Intern Project. The event will feature short presentations by students who participated in this program, and a buffet, nomihoudai included. One ticket for a company representative is included for each intern hosted. Topic: Liberalisation of Japan’s Residential Electricity Sector

Japan is just about to liberalise its residential electricity sector, effectively breaking TEPCO and the other regional utilities’ monopoly in the sector. The expected result of this policy change is that competition will bring down prices and improve services for the end users.
