CCCJ Energy Study Group Topic: Liberalisation of Japan’s Residential Electricity Sector
Japan is just about to liberalise its residential electricity sector, effectively breaking TEPCO and the other regional utilities’ monopoly in the sector. The expected result of this policy change is that competition will bring down prices and improve services for the end users.

Emilie-Claire Barlow is a native of Toronto and renowned jazz singer.
Throughout her career, she has won multiple awards, including a prestigious Juno award.
She will be performing in Tokyo for the weekend starting on Friday, January 22nd (1/22) through Sunday, January 24th (1/24).
