On Saturday, April 25, Manulife will host their annual charity run event at Tokyo MX Ajunomoto stadium with sponsorships by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan, the Canadian Embassy in Japan and various other organizations. There will be 4 different run sections, and all charity money will de given to the Central Community Chest of Japan for building play-rooms for children under medical treatment.

On April 23rd, the CCCJ in conjunction with our friends from the American Chamber of Commerce, Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie Française du Japon, the German Junior Chamber, Swedish Young Chamber Network and Swiss Young Professionals at Las Chicas in Jingumae. The CCCJ is pleased to announce a special luncheon event with Jeffery Simpson – Globe and Mail National Affairs Columnist – to be held on April 16th at the Roppongi Hills Club.
Exit tax, reporting of overseas assets, new visa statuses introduction
On April 7th, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan, the Danish Chamber of Commerce in Japan, and the South African Chamber of Commerce in Japan, in conjunction with member company Nakai Immigration Services will host an information networking event focused on visa and tax issues in Japan. Hosted at the Tokyo American Club, the event will start off with a 40 minute session on the above subject, followed by a chance for networking, food (buffet style) and free-flow beverages (nomihoudai).
