ポール・スノーデン氏は、日本の大学で３７年間にわたり世界のコミュニケーション手段としての英語教育に携わって来ました。世界の標準語としての英語には、いわゆるネイティブの英語をはじめとして、発音、文法、語彙などで多くのバラエティが存在します。電子メディアの急速な発達により、古くからの文通作法も影響を受けて来ています。このような問題についてスノーデン氏の豊富な経験に基づく知見を沼田会長が引き出すとともに、皆様にも、軽食とドリンクを楽しみつつどんどん気楽に質問をしていただきたいと思います。

Entrepreneurship Panel Discussion – Thursday, Feb 12th, 2015

In collaboration with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan – CCCJ, the Desautels Faculty of Management’s McGill MBA Japan program is pleased to invite everyone to our Entrepreneurship Panel Discussion, which will take place during the evening of Thursday, February 12th, 2015. Register by February 10th, using the registration interface below. 

Our topic this year is Exit Strategies – Keys to Entrepreneurial and Business Success.

Do you know what parliamentary debate is? It is not a quarrel but an art of persuasion, which forms an important part of public life in Britain, the United States and elsewhere. It is a highly enjoyable game, where flashes of ideas, intelligence and quick wit are exchanged.

ESUJ is organising an evening as below to mingle casually with the "UK squad" consisting of four brilliant debaters from UK, to see and hear them engage in a battle of logic, reason and, above all, humour.

On July 31st the CCCJ will be hosting a Monthly Mixer at the Whistler Café in Jimbocho. Whistler Café is a Canadian style bar with a menu offering: burgers, chicken wings and, of course, Poutine! Casual or professional attire welcome; this is a laidback evening get together. So come out, beat the heat, and enjoy a night of food, drink and CCCJ company!  

Come join the CCCJ at Roti on July 1st for our yearly Canada Day celebration. This year we will be featuring some Canadian wines with Roti's fine spread of food.

The night is open to non-members as well so invite a friend and enjoy the great company of the CCCJ.
