Joining Room to Read, CCCJ and Tokyo Startups United

Thrilled to announce that the CCCJ will be joining the 2015 Mo-MaTSUri supporting Beers for Books campaign to benefit Room to Read, last year the event raised enough to fund just over 1,000 books!

April Monthly Mixer @ Las Chicas

Looking for something new? On April 23rd, the CCCJ in conjunction with our friends from the American Chamber of Commerce, Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie Française du Japon, the German Junior Chamber, Swedish Young Chamber Network and Swiss Young Professionals at Las Chicas in Jingumae. This will be a great chance to make new business contacts, so make sure to bring plenty of meishi!

Exit tax, reporting of overseas assets, new visa statuses introduction

On April 7th, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan, the Danish Chamber of Commerce in Japan, and the South African Chamber of Commerce in Japan, in conjunction with member company Nakai Immigration Services will host an information networking event focused on visa and tax issues in Japan. Hosted at the Tokyo American Club, the event will start off with a 40 minute session on the above subject, followed by a chance for networking, food (buffet style) and free-flow beverages (nomihoudai). 

February Monthly Mixer - BrewDog Roppongi

CCCJ members, 

We will be hosting a very casual mixer at BrewDog in Roppongi on Thursday February 26th - from 19:00 to 21:00. No RSVP, no cover charge. Cash bar in effect, and a pint of BrewDog Punk IPA on the house. That's right, free beer. Join us next Thursday for some quality drink, and even better company.

Mark your calendars! The CCCJ is pleased to announce that – on December 11th, 2014 – it will be hosting the annual Joint Chamber Bonenkai. 

Attracting over 300 guests annually, the Joint Chamber Bonenkai draws a diverse crowd of business people from various domestic as well as international business chambers in Japan. Make sure to buy your tickets soon, as they sell fast. This is an overall great event for networking, making new friends, and maybe even developing a few new business leads!

This year, participating chambers are as follows:
