As its name suggests, Speed Mentoring is a mentoring version of ‘Speed Dating’. This event is organized by the Education Committee for the purpose of offering career mentoring by experienced industry leaders of the CCCJ to university students or young professionals with 3 key goals:

We will be hosting the October Monthly Mixer at HyLife Pork TABLE, Canada’s leading full integrated producer of premium pork and our corporate member at CCCJ. The participation fee is ¥6,500 for CCCJ members and ¥8,000 for non-members, which includes a buffet-style finger food featuring juicy and tender Canadian High-Life Pork and some refreshing beverages. Come join us for a fun networking night with your friends!

We will be hosting the September Monthly Mixer at our corporate member, The Tokyo EDITION Toranomon's 31st floor Lobby Bar. The EDITION kindly offered a special package for our monthly mixer allowing participation of CCCJ Members for 6,500 Yen (8,000 Yen for non-Members), which includes a fine spread of finger food, 'all you can drink', and a beautiful view of the Tokyo skyline to network over. Seats are limited. Don't miss the opportunity to catch up with the members and their friends!

The CCCJ presents a night of Rakugo online with Cultural Ambassador Katsura Sunshine. Rakugo is one of the traditional performing arts in Japan, which is a storytelling with a humorous ending. Unlike other traditional performing arts, Rakugo uses only physical and hand gestures to advance the story, and one person plays many roles. The story always involves the dialogue of two or more characters and the difference between the two is depicted only through change in pitch, tone, and a slight turn of the head.
