CCCJ’s Wellness and Event Committees invite you to come join us for a late Saturday morning of yoga or run (or walk) in the park followed by a lunch picnic that will feature everyone’s beloved Thanksgiving Turkey and a few healthy dishes.

Reflections on the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics with Sophie Pascoe

The postponed Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games drew to a colourful close on Sunday, September 5, after nearly two weeks of competition among more than 4,400 of the world’s top athletes with impairments. The Games saw athletes compete in 539 events across 22 different sports, with an astonishing 69 World and 124 Paralympic records being broken. The 2020 Games also saw more female athletes take part than ever before.

CCCJ is pleased to welcome Dr. Takao Ohki, MD, PhD for a live webinar series on Covid-19 Vaccines in Japan: Present and Future.

With a number of countries making fast progress on rolling out Covid-19 vaccinations, the situation in Japan has drawn attention. Japan has one of the lowest rates of vaccine confidence in the world, and the comparatively slow start to its vaccination program raised concern among foreign residents. Dr. Takao Ohki, a respected Japanese medical doctor, will share his expert perspective on Covid-19 vaccination in Japan, present and future.
