Upcoming Events

On Saturday, April 25, Manulife will host their annual charity run event at Tokyo MX Ajunomoto stadium with sponsorships by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan, the Canadian Embassy in Japan and various other organizations. There will be 4 different run sections, and all charity money will de given to the Central Community Chest of Japan for building play-rooms for children under medical treatment.

ポール・スノーデン氏は、日本の大学で３７年間にわたり世界のコミュニケーション手段としての英語教育に携わって来ました。世界の標準語としての英語には、いわゆるネイティブの英語をはじめとして、発音、文法、語彙などで多くのバラエティが存在します。電子メディアの急速な発達により、古くからの文通作法も影響を受けて来ています。このような問題についてスノーデン氏の豊富な経験に基づく知見を沼田会長が引き出すとともに、皆様にも、軽食とドリンクを楽しみつつどんどん気楽に質問をしていただきたいと思います。

Exit tax, reporting of overseas assets, new visa statuses introduction

On April 7th, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan, the Danish Chamber of Commerce in Japan, and the South African Chamber of Commerce in Japan, in conjunction with member company Nakai Immigration Services will host an information networking event focused on visa and tax issues in Japan. Hosted at the Tokyo American Club, the event will start off with a 40 minute session on the above subject, followed by a chance for networking, food (buffet style) and free-flow beverages (nomihoudai). 

The CCCJ in collaboration with NPO Ganbatte 365 will host an evening reception at the Tokyo American Club on Friday March 20th from 18:30-20:30 to celebrate the completion of the 2015 Tohoku Student Intern Project. The event will feature short presentations by students who participated in this program, a short performance by Katsura Sunshine, and a buffet prepared by Tokyo American Club (nomihoudai included). One ticket for a company representative is included for each intern hosted. Extra tickets can be purchased below.

Ladies and gentlemen, join CCCJ cultural ambassador, Katsura Sunshine, for an evening of craft beer and Rakugo. On Sunday March 15th, Katsura Sunshine will be performing English Rakugo at BrewDog in Roppongi. Come for an hour or so of laughter and stay for a Sunday afternoon party with Sunshine. Choose from over 20 craft beers on tap and many more in bottles!
