Participating Chambers included:

The Great International Chambers' Wine-Off was a Multi-Chamber social event, hosted at the Roppongi Hills Club bringing together just over 300 members of the above listed chambers for an evening of networking, meishi koukan, friendly conversation, food, and of course, top-notch wines. Like other joint chamber events, ticket sales were hot, and the CCCJ sold out of it's ticket stock early.
Event doors opened at 18:40, for a 19:00 start. Shortly after the official start of the party, CCCJ Events Committee Chair, Stephane Beaulieu, greeted guests with an aisatsu in French, English and Japanese. After that, guests mingled, and tasted wines from around the world, as wine distributors from each of the eight booths promoted their national product. Gourmet Canadiana food product importer and distributor - Cheena Canada Ltd - introduced guests to a Niagara peninsula wine, from Herdner Estate Winery. Cheena Canada Ltd, also had a couple of ice wines on offer for those with a sweet palate. The CCCJ came through with several cases of Okanagan Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines, making the Canadian booth very popular.
In addition to a great selection of wines, guests were treated to an exquisite buffet, with food also on pass around, prepared by Chefs from the Grand Hyatt.
At approximately 20:00, distributors from each chamber made presentations about their wines. Avi Salsberg, Managing Director of the British Columbia Trade and Investment Office, represented Canada and gave an overview of Canadian wines, naturally with an extra hint of British Columbia. The evening's presentations can be found here; details on each of the distributors are available below:
