According to Nathan Allen and Amnit Litt, Program Manager and Junior Research Fellow at the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, there are more Canadians in favor of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement than those who are against despite the fact that one finding shows that 75 percent of Canadians reported they have never hear of the TPP. Overall, various surveys show that Canadians hold mixed views on the TPP, including whether this international trade agreement will bring positive economic impacts to Canada or whether Canadian government should protect their dairy and poultry markets by keeping high tarrifs on foreign imports.

「The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada」、Nathan Allenプログラムマネージャー と Amnit Littジュニアリサーチャーによると約75パーセントのカナダ人は環太平洋経済協定（TPP）を一度も聞いた事が無いと答えたにも関わらず、TPPを支援するカナダ人は、反対派より多い事がある調査結果によってわかった。また、複数の他の調査によると、全体的に見て、TPPが国へもたらす好影響や、高関税を保つことによってカナダの乳製品と鶏肉市場を守ろうとしているカナダ政府の取り組みに関して、カナダ人は多様な視点を持っている事もわかった。
