Canada-Japan Sports Diplomacy: Pro Golfer Yokoo Kaname

CCCJ Chair David Anderson, Corporate Member Kozo Fujiki, President, Sankyo Trading and Seiji Omote, HBA & Board Member were honoured to take to the course with Pro Golfer Yokoo Kaname on October 12th at the prestigious Tokyo Yomiuri Country Club.

The four spent the time speaking of the importance of leveraging sports to improve bilateral relations between our two nations and opportunities therein. Yokoo-san has led a distinguished career with multiple wins on the Japan tour even reaching into the top 100 players globally.

Yokoo-san has participated in CCCJ Golf Tournaments in the past and is happy to support the strengthening of bilateral relations. The CCCJ wishes Yokoo-san the best for success as he enters into the Seniors tour next year.
