Shinnenkai 2014 - Event Report
To celebrate the start of the year of the Horse, the CCCJ held our annual Shinnenkai at the Canadian themed Whistler Café on January 28th, 2014. The event garnered more than 50 people for an exciting night of networking, drinks, and poutines.
During the evening, Adrian Marquez of Plan B Corporation, kindly offered samples of his maple wines. Three exquisite wines we prepared and were all highly regarded by attending members. "The maple meads are a very unique product, a labour of love and ultimately the true flavour of the land. they could only come from a very special combination of one place, one climate and winemakers.
