Joint Chamber Bonenkai ~ 20th Anniversary
On December 12, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan once again spearheaded the Joint Chamber Bonenkai at the Canadian Embassy. Attracting well over 300 guests, the event brought members from: the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan, the Australian and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan, the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan, the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kansai Canada Business Association, the South African Chamber of Commerce in Japan, and many others.
During the event, donations were gathered to support Tohoku in the form of a 50/50 cash raffle, where 50% of the money goes to the charity O.G.A for AID, and 50% goes to the winner. Only 50% of the cash was to go to the charity but the winner of the raffle, Paul Dupuis, graciously donated half of his winnings to the charity. A grand total of 204,000 yen was donated support Tohoku.
We also want to thank The Tokyo American Club, The New Otani Hotel, and The Grand Hyatt for kindly providing door prizes for the event.
Thank you to all the participants, and we hope you enjoy the photos.
